Worthy Brothers,
On behalf of all of the Ohio State Council Officers, and the Convention Committee – you are encouraged to attend the 125th Annual Ohio State Convention! As you may know, our host venue is the wonderful Northern Kentucky Convention Center.
You are encouraged to come early and take advantage of everything that the Greater Cincinnati area offers, much of which is within walking distance. A Saturday tour will also be available for the ladies. There is truly something for everyone at this year’s convention including the following exciting activities!
Friday Night Welcome Party featuring musical entertainer & Brother Knight Mike Davis plus split-the-pots and cooler raffles!
Saturday morning Memorial Mass
Super Cash Bonanza drawing
Council and Individual Achievement Awards
Ladies tour of the Covington Basilica Cathedral & historic Mother of God Church
State Deputy Banquet and awards
Hospitality Rooms
Sunday Morning Mass
Mens Sunday Luncheon
Ladies Sunday Luncheon (featuring co-host of EWTN’s Sunrise Morning Show Anna Mitchell).
This once in a lifetime event will feature the unveiling of Ohio’s own special commissioned Icon.
The two hotels, the Riverside Marriott and the Embassy Suites are conveniently located next to the convention center. The Marriott offers an inside bridge to the convention center and our gathering spaces at the Marriott and Embassy guest rooms boast the best views of Cincinnati found anywhere!
Your council should avail itself of the full benefit by having full representation at this convention by having two (2) accredited delegates attending. The success of the work of our Order in Ohio and your council depends on your council’s full participation at the annual convention.
The rules of the Order provide:
The Grand Knight, by virtue of his office, will be a delegate.
The other delegate must be selected from among the Past Grand Knights of your council if they can attend. If there are NO Past Grand Knights available, any third-degree member in good standing may be elected.
That alternates for the two (2) delegates are also elected. They need not be Past Grand Knights but must be third-degree members in good standing.
Again – if you haven’t made your reservations and arrangements, please do so as soon as possible. Looking forward to seeing each of you at the Convention!
Fraternally,
Michael J. Felerski
