How a Bill Becomes a Law

This video is my own slideshow-turned-QT movie, just under 2 minutes.

•Now....... It's your turn. You are to make a slideshow to be shared with me on how a bill becomes a law. You may use either Keynote (email it to me) or Google Presentation (share it with me from Google).

•You will receive some work time in class. You should include all of the basic steps, use 5 or more slides/transitions/"changes of scenery," include 2 or more appropriate graphics, and be sure to have accurate material. Make it more than just words; have some visual movement. However, most of your story can be told with text rather than movement. You may tell the story with more words than movement. Have all transitions, etc. take place automatically.

Your grade will be accessed on these criteria. It should be informative rather than entertaining.

•As an FYI..... I made mine in Keynote, used Magic Move here and there, and exported it as a QuickTime movie. Uploading it to your Google account would allow you to share it with me.

•Again- email it to me if you used Keynote; share it with me if you used Google Presentation/Slides.

This video is 7 minutes and it's a pretty good explanation. It does jump around a bit.

This is the famous, 3 minute Schoolhouse Rock video with that "catchy tune."

This SNL skit is 3.5 minutes and it spoofs the Schoolhouse Rock video during the time Barack Obama was our president.
