Highly recommend the BBC and Scottish Book Trust Authors live! Over 35 authors to "meet" and listen to how their books and characters came about. You may not recognise the author names but you will have definitely heard of some of their books.

Anthony Horowitz (Alex rider series), Malorie Blackman (noughts and crosses etc), Patrick Ness ( A Monster calls), David Almond, Liz Pichon (tom gates series like wimpy kid) Eoin Colfer (Artemis Fowl). There is poetry on there, Steve Backshall is on there (adventurer and author)

Oh, and Pamela Butchart is on there, a teacher from Dundee who has started writing secret seven books....

The Active Schools team have created an online Stay Active at Home Website. The site provides different indoor and outdoor physical activity challenges, for parents and pupils to take part in each day. There is also a daily physical activity tracker and certificate to encourage pupils to take part in 60 minutes of daily physical activity.

They will be adding new challenges and resources each week for teachers, parents and pupils.

The site has been added Glow so you can search for "Active Schools" in the search bar on your launchpad.
