THE 2025-2026 APPLICATION IS CLOSED. The 2026-2027 APPLICATION WILL OPEN JANUARY 2026
Step One: The student should speak to their counselor and inform them of their interest in participating in a CCI Technical Program.
Step Two: The student's counselor will submit a recommendation on the student's behalf. The student will complete a CCI Application.
Step Three: The student will apply for admission to West Georgia Technical College.
Step Four: The student and parent will complete the SPA/funding Application at GaFutures.com.
Step Five: The student will watch and sign off on the DCSS Dual Enrollment Video and Agreement.
All applications and agreements must be submitted for your registration to be considered complete. The process will take approximately 1-2 hours to complete and will require the help of a parent. Be sure to read all directions carefully before completing/submitting your applications. Errors may prevent your application from being viewed or processed.
Items needed to complete the application(s): the student's social security number and the student's GAFutures.org account login information (username and password). If the student has a social security number, it must be provided when asked. The student's social security number is what the state uses to track student information and Dual Enrollment funding. If the student does not have a social security number, please leave the question blank. If you have questions regarding the use/need for the student's social security number, please reach out to the CCI counselor.
All applications are considered on a first come first serve basis. Application deadline is April 1st. Once all the required steps have been completed, you will receive an email from the CCI notifying you of your acceptance into the program. Receiving an acceptance email from WGTC does not mean you have been accepted into the CCI Program.

Tuesday, February 10, 2026 - 5pm at the College and Career Institute.
Apply to CCI Nights are come and go events held on the CCI campus at 4600 Timber Ridge Dr. Bldg. D. CCI staff will be available to assist you with the registration process. You can also speak with program instructors, and see the school. Make sure to bring a parent and your social security number and arrive early so you have enough time to get everything done.
