MS. WADE

Mrs. Wade is an educator at heart and a system-builder by training. As JYK Discovery Charter School’s Director of Curriculum & Reporting, she makes sure every classroom has a clear, joyful path to grade-level mastery—and that the story of our students’ learning is told accurately, compassionately, and on time.

She partners closely with teachers to align curriculum to Pennsylvania standards, build practical unit maps and pacing guides, and choose assessments that measure what matters. For Mrs. Wade, “data” isn’t just numbers; it’s a mirror that helps students see their growth, helps teachers target support, and helps families understand how to champion learning at home. She leads our assessment calendar, progress-monitoring cycles, and state reporting—with a steady focus on equity, multilingual learners, and students who need just a little more time or a different route to get there.

Calm, meticulous, and deeply kind, Mrs. Wade creates tools that make educators’ lives easier: clear checklists before each benchmark window, simple templates for lesson planning, and family-friendly updates that celebrate growth as much as grades. She collaborates with student support services to ensure accommodations are honored in instruction and assessment, and she works hand-in-hand with our operations and technology teams so that PowerSchool data is clean, consistent, and truly useful.
