This September, Ms. Cloud begins her 27th year in education. She taught over 15 years as a certified teacher of students in grades K-12, served as an experienced teacher coach and school administrator before becoming the CEO at JYKDCS.

In addition to her professional achievements, her greatest accomplishment is her family. She is a loving mother to two. As a parent, she always wants what is best for her children and will work tirelessly to ensure her students have the best possible experiences at JYK Discovery Charter School.

This summer, she worked closely with the academic team, educational consultants, and more to ensure a smooth transition to 2026-2027- aimed at academic growth. During this school year, she will continue learning more about our school, community, and the unique needs of our students and staff.

This year, our school theme is, "Growing Together, Achieving More". Together, we can help our children achieve their goals and provide them with an excellent education.”
