Juanita M. Jenkins is a compassionate and highly skilled professional with more than 20 years of experience supporting students, families, and communities. As Discovery Charter School’s Attendance & Community Relations Specialist, she is dedicated to ensuring every student is present, engaged, and supported in their learning journey. Juanita brings a wealth of expertise in school counseling, family outreach, and community advocacy, with a proven ability to build strong relationships, foster trust, and address challenges through empathy and cultural humility. She is committed to reducing absenteeism and promoting a culture of punctuality, presence, and pride that aligns with Discovery’s mission of empowering lifelong learners and active citizens.

Throughout her career, Juanita has served as a school counselor, diversity leader, and community advocate, helping families navigate barriers to student success while creating programs that increased retention and engagement.
