Orchestra Parent Boosters
The orchestra cannot function without the help of our amazing parents. Research shows that students whose parents volunteer at their child's school gain insight into their child's academic and social skills, making it easier to help them at home. It also is correlated with higher student grades & test scores.
Our parent volunteers can help in a variety of ways including with selling concert tickets and serving refreshments, our spring orchestra banquet, fundraising, event planning, and in countless additional ways. Our boosters meet monthly during the year. Parents may also commit to specific events they enjoy helping with if they cannot commit to every booster meeting. Help is always needed, please consider getting involved!
Your Orchestra Booster leaders for 2018-2019 are:
Amy Barr, President
Robin Johnson, Secretary
Mark Johnson, Treasurer
We have an open position for Vice President. Contact Mrs. Bruchs if you are interested in getting involved!
Tickets for our concerts are available at seatyourself.biz/dchs during the week leading up to the concert. They are $3 per person or free with a student activity card.
King Soopers Cards
We have King Soopers Fundraising Giftcards on sale at all times. Cards are $5 and come pre-loaded with $5 on them. When you check-out at the register, you can load the card with your credit/debit card, cash, or check, and then pay for your groceries with the loaded gift card. With each re-load 5% is donated back to the individual student orchestra acount (ISA). These are great to give family-members! Email or talk to Mrs. Bruchs if you would like a card.
We are always looking for local businesses to feature in our programs. All sponsorships are tax-deductible and ads will be featured in all of our concert programs for the year. Silver, Gold and Platinum sponsors will also have ads featured on our projector screen before the concerts! Contact Mrs. Bruchs if you are interested.
