Private Lessons

We encourage all students to seek outside instruction from a private teacher. Private lessons enhance each student's development on their instrument regarding musicianship, technique, and more which supports the work we are doing in the classroom. Students interested in progressing more quickly who are interested in participating in DCHS advanced ensembles, honor groups, and leadership roles are typically enrolled in private instruction on a weekly or regular basis. 

We strongly recommend private lessons for all DCHS orchestra students who can afford it!

This list in no way reflects preferences of the Douglas County School District or its teaching staff and does not attempt to provide complete faculty lists organized through outside organizations or businesses. Many of the above teachers have worked successfully with DCHS Orchestra students in the past.
