Supplementary Curriculum

2024-25 Cloverleaf Curriculum Order Form-Linked Here

Orders will be filled in the month of June. An email will be sent when your order is ready for pick up.

Cloverleaf Home Education serves students in grades K-12. The school is designed to support parents who choose to educate their children at home. Parents remain the primary instructional providers, with the school supplementing their efforts. Families participating in the program get limited supplementary instructional materials at no cost. This is possible because, as a public school, Cloverleaf receives a portion of the PPR (Per Pupil Revenue) distributed at the state level for each enrolled student. This money is used to pay for salaries, instructional materials, and other costs associated with running the school.

Supplementary Materials

Supplementary Materials are defined as any instructional materials that relate to the curriculum and are available for teacher use and/or student selection. Supplementary materials are used to provide extension, enrichment, and support to the curriculum.

Since parents are designated as the primary instructional provider for each student, Cloverleaf Home Education provides a choice of supplementary materials to support the parent’s curriculum in their home-based educational program while students are enrolled. These materials are available for annual checkout at no cost. Materials provided are reusable and non-religious. Items must be returned if students are no longer enrolled or at the end of the school year. According to Board Policy JQ, “Students may be assessed fines or other penalties following applicable law for lost, damaged, or defaced books, materials, or equipment.”

Several choices are available for each subject area, however only one choice may be made for each subject. For example, a student cannot have a Saxon math book and a Math U See book at the same time.

Students are eligible to order supplementary materials when the Home Education office has received a completed registration packet and students are enrolled in the school before the funding period (October 1st).
