Instructional App Support

Whether your child participates in COVID-19 Hybrid or Virtual Instruction, he/she will be using several instructional apps to enhance and continue learning through distance education. The apps used for instruction will be determined by the internet access you have at home. If you have internet access, teachers will be assigning distance learning work through Google Classroom to be completed by the next in-school instructional day.

If you do not have internet access, teachers will be providing distance learning using Google Drive and assignments will need to be downloaded to the Chromebook either during their time at school (Hybrid Instruction), or by accessing a WIFI Hot Spot on a DCPS school campus or various locations throughout the county (Virtual Instruction).

If you do not have internet access, but you do have cell phone service is your area, it is possible to use your cell phone as a Hot Spot to download these assignments. Please contact your cell service provider for more information. Please be aware that data rates and limits may apply.
