Uniform: Years 12 and 13 (Sixth Form)
The Year 12 and 13 uniform requirements for 2026/27 are detailed below.
Full suit: A dark coloured blazer and trousers/skirt (e.g. navy, black, dark grey) Skirts should be no more than 3cm above the knee.
Smart shirts, long or short sleeved.
Year 12: White, light blue or pale pink
Year 13: White, light blue or pale pink, patterns permitted (striped, checked, etc.)
Smart, black, polishable, closed-toe shoes (no thick soles, trainers or high heels)
Black, grey or navy socks.
DBS house tie
Hair should be neat in style, worn down or tied up. Long hair (below shoulder length) must be tied up for practical lessons such as Science, sports, and DT for health and safety reasons.
It should be natural in colour (dyed hair is permitted as long as the colour is natural).
Natural looking, subtle make up may be worn.
Natural coloured nail varnish, such as clear, pink or beige is permitted.
Minimal jewellery may be worn but will need to be removed for practical activities.
Students should avoid wearing expensive jewellery to school as it is easy to
misplace once removed.
Students may wear 1 ring and bracelet on each hand and one necklace.
Earrings should be simple studs, other visible piercings need to be removed.
Sports Kit
DBS Games kit and trainers should only be worn for Games lessons, sporting events or activities, or ASAs.
Normal school uniform should be worn to school, and students should change in the nearest break for events requiring sports kit (unless this event is before morning break)
Monday: Suits (including blazer/jacket)
Tuesday: Formal business attire
Wednesday: Black polo shirt and business attire
Thursday: Formal business attire
Friday: House polo shirts and business attire
For Drama lessons all students need to wear non-slip socks. These can be the ones you get from Bounce or Harbour land or the ones in the picture:
