Visual Arts provides opportunities for students to enjoy the making and studying of art. It builds an understanding of the role of art in all forms of media. There is a balance of 60% practical with 40% theoretical study of Art forms, styles and historical periods.
Students learn about the pleasure and enjoyment of making different kinds of photographic and digital media works in still, interactive and moving forms. Learning to take photographs, create films and use photoshop are key elements of this course.
Visual Design provides opportunities for students to enjoy making and studying visual design artworks and to become informed about, understand and write about their contemporary world. This course provides in-depth experiences in Ceramics.
