(Biospark’21 e-Magazine - Pandemic Edition Release)
On the occasion of the release of its annual departmental e-magazine, Biospark’21- The Pandemic Edition, the Department of Biochemistry on 31st July 2021 invited its proud alumnus, Dr. Harshul Arora Veraszto, to deliver a talk on “Protein Structure and Function: Pentafunctional AROM Complex”. She is currently a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the University of Geneva, Switzerland and in her talk, unravelled the dynamics of the CtAROM complex using her extensive understanding of proteins. She discussed the shikimate route, AroDE crystal structure, CtAROM experiments and Pentafunctional AROM complex crystal structure to name a few. She also threw light on career options abroad for students and other options for budding scientists. Her presentation proved to be more intriguing and interactive in the presence of our esteemed superannuated colleague, Dr. Mira Kushal.
Since the occasion was the launch of the e-magazine of the Department of Biochemistry, a video giving the highlight of the magazine was played which piqued the interest of one and all. The annual Magazine: Biospark’21- The Pandemic Edition covered the duration from January 2020-March 2021.
