You will find below the terms and conditions in relation to the fees at TDC. Our pricing structure can be viewed by clicking the link below. Discounts are already included in the pricing structure and no further discounts on fees will be offered. Tuition does not include the registration fee, dance wear, shoes, costumes, recital tickets, private lessons, or special events.
Payment & Withdrawal
1. An annual registration fee must be paid upon submission of your registration form.
2. Families must register for a GoCardless account for bank account direct debits. All payments and invoices will be direct debited from your nominated bank account. Failure to create a GoCardless account within 7 days of registration will result in cancellation of your enrolment.
3. All fees paid are non-refundable. (Medical certificate exception for account credit only).
4. A $10 dishonor fee will be charged for any GoCardless direct debit payments that are returned or declined.
5. There are no rebates for missed classes.
6. All classes purchased expire at the end of the season (December 19, 2026).
7. Classes that fall on a public holiday or long weekend (when we are closed) will be marked as absent and will be available to be booked for makeup.
8. If your account is not paid in full by the end of the season your account will be forwarded to our debt collection agency for further action. Agency collection costs will also be added to your account.
9. 4 weeks' notice in writing and a completed withdrawal form is required to withdraw from any classes and direct debits.
10. There are two options for tuition payment: monthly tuition (full-year tuition paid off in monthly payments, and fortnightly tuition (full-year tuition paid off in fortnightly payments).
11. In the case that TDC has to cancel a class due to low enrollment, you will be offered an alternate class to attend for any tuition amounts already paid and an option to withdraw or move to another class.
Yearly Tuition in Monthly Direct Debit Payments
a) Your yearly tuition amount is calculated by how many classes a week students are registered for and is subject to change throughout the year if you add or withdraw from classes.
b) The corresponding tuition amount will be direct debited from your nominated bank account or credit card on the 15th of each month starting January 15, 2026, with the last payment occurring on December 15, 2026. Each payment is deducted from your total yearly tuition amount. You can view the breakdown of each monthly payment below.

c) If the 15th falls on a weekend, then the payment will be processed on Monday, the next business day.
Yearly Tuition in Fortnightly Direct Debit Payments
a) Your yearly tuition amount is calculated by how many classes a week students are registered for and is subject to change throughout the year if you add or withdraw from classes.
b) The corresponding tuition amount will be direct debited from your nominated bank account on the 15th and 30th of each month starting on January 15, 2026, with the last payment occurring on December 15, 2026. Each payment will be deducted from your total yearly tuition amount. You can view the breakdown of each fortnightly payment below.

c) If the 15th or 30th falls on a weekend, then the payment will be processed on Monday, the next business day.
Membership Fees
a) Membership fees are an annual fee (paid in full or installments).
b) Membership fees are not prorated. If you register after January 15th, 2026, your initial tuition invoice will include a calculated initial membership fee.
c) The annual fee must be paid in full on your final tuition invoice should you withdraw from classes before December 19th, 2026.
Other Fees
a) Payments for private lessons must be made at the time of booking.
b) Exam fees will be charged upon receipt of a signed exam agreement form (various amounts depending on dance style and level of exam. An exam fee structure will be made available to you before any agreements are signed). Exam fees will be direct debited from your nominated account on the due date specified on the exam fee invoice.
c) Payments for exam fees are non-refundable whether the student attends their exam session or not and must be paid before students sit their exams.
d) All extra fees (uniform, recital fees, exams, etc) will be invoiced and sent via email. The full invoiced amount will be direct debited from your nominated bank account on the due date shown on the invoice.
f) Should you choose to participate in our year-end recital, you will be charged a recital package fee for the year-end recital performance upon receipt of a signed performance agreement.
g) There are no refunds on recital fees or extra fees.
