Attendance

Your child’s attendance in class is very important to their peers and our teaching staff. As a member of the team, it is a commitment for you to ensure your child attends their classes on time each week and attends all lessons planned for them. Not only do absences impact the concert routines we create, it also impacts the social and confidence-building principals we work hard to foster in each age group. 

If you know ahead of time that your child will be absent due to holidays/vacations, commitments or school trips, please let us know ahead of time so the class impact is minimal. You can log in to your parent portal to submit all absences. If your child is too unwell to attend class, we ask that you inform our admin team as soon as you can so they can let the teachers know and preparations can be made to catch up on any missed work. 

If your child misses a class they can book a make-up class during the same session that they missed the class. 

Make Up Classes

Make-up Class Policies

a) All make-up classes must be pre-booked. Complete the make-up class booking form to book your selected classes a minimum of 7 days in advance. We will not accept email requests.

b) Classes that are at capacity will not be able to be booked for a make-up class.

c) Make-up classes can be booked for any style of class in the age range or academy level of the student.

d) It is your responsibility to book your owed make-up classes. There are no refunds or credits issued for unused make-up classes.

e) Make-up classes can only be booked in accordance with the annual membership level chosen.

• Basic membership = only classes missed due to a public holiday closure can be booked for make-up classes.

• Family membership = Missed classes can be booked for make-up classes during the same school term they are missed.

• Elite & Ambassador memberships = Missed classes can be booked for make-up classes at any time during the year (excluding the blackout period).

f) A blackout period will apply from November 2nd - December 5th, 2026. Make-up classes cannot be booked during the blackout period.

g) Unused make-up classes expire at the end of each session date in accordance with the annual membership level chosen.
