If you haven't failed, you haven't tried anything new !

Thomas Edison held 1093 patents, and none of them were successful on the first attempt. If Edison had a fixed mindset, then we wouldn't have lights :). Although that is meant to be facetious and we know that someone else would have eventually been credited with the invention of the incandescent light bulb, it is important to note the perseverance of Thomas Edison. Edison once said, "I have not failed...I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work.
