Motivation
"The secret to getting ahead is getting started."- Mark Twain
Eligibility
Each athlete must be earning at least 2.5 credits each grade check period. Ineligible athletes are expected to attend all games and practices; however, they may not compete or perform in contests. Based on IHSA guidelines the ineligibility time line runs from Monday through Saturday following the date of calculation. Students do not have the opportunity for a “grace period” to bring up grades. Once ineligible, the student remains ineligible for an entire calendar week (except for extended periods during winter break and spring break). The only exception to make a student eligible is if there was a calculation error found prior to the week of ineligibility.
