Students are expected to show professionalism during job shadows, career fairs, mock interviews, and portfolio presentations. The following dress code is the minimum expectation; however, it is ok for students to dress above these standards.
The following applies to all students:
All clothing items should be clean and pressed
All shirts should be tucked in with a belt (if there are belt loops, you need a belt)
Students should practice good hygiene including combed hair, clean nails, and appropriate jewelry and/or accessories
Appropriate Attire Examples:
Slacks, khakis, or Dockers
Collared shirt and tie
Dress shoes with tan or black socks
Belt
Knee-length skirt or dress
Sweater or blouse
Dress flats or mid-heel shoes
Appropriate leggings or tights
INAPPROPRIATE ATTIRE:
No denim, overalls, shorts, stretch pants, or exercise gear
No short skirts or dresses
No open toed shoes, flip flops, sandals, or athletic shoes
No cleavage/bellies exposed
No tank tops or spaghetti straps
No visible undergarments
No see-through clothing
No sweatshirts
No facial piercings or excessive piercings
No hats or backpacks
No gum
