Scrape two pieces of paper
Or try something brand new!
Option 1 - Draw your percussion instrument creation.
Do you play your instrument by striking, shaking, or scraping?
Find a grown-up, brother or sister, or stuffed animal and tell them how you would play your percussion instrument design.
Option 2 - Actually create your percussion instrument in real life.
Do you play your instrument by striking, shaking or scraping?
Try playing your percussion instrument.
Find a grown-up, brother or sister, or stuffed animal and teach them how to play your percussion instrument.
Part 4: Bonus Choices (optional)
Read the rhythms using your speaking voice. These rhythms include the notes ta, titi, and rest.
Read the rhythms with your speaking voice AND play them on the percussion instrument you created.
If you want, you could even send me a picture of your percussion instrument through the Music Seesaw page.
