Honors Algebra 1
We have been busy finishing up slope and solving systems of equations. We will be taking our final exam right before winter break and semester grades will be posted. I will be on maternity leave until February 15th, so please reach out to the long-term substitute, Conrad Musleh at conrad.musleh.edu@d300.org while I am out.
7th Grade
In January the students will be learning about linear expressions and two-step equations, which they will use to solve real world problems and to find angle measures. They will then transition into solving 2 step inequalities. They will need to use their knowledge from previous modules to help solve these equations.
8th Grade
During the months of December and January, 8th grade Algebra 1 students are extending their knowledge of slope by comparing proportional relationships represented in tables, graphs and equations. Students are demonstrating their understanding while using real-life examples such as determining the best value of an item or the greater speed of two vehicles.
