If you are answering yes to these three, then consider participating in Enact.

Enact is an in-house, educational racial equity experience designed for staff who have taken Beyond Diversity 1 or Courageous Conversations Experience and want to continue to do their work using the protocol to have effective courageous conversations about race that lead to racial equity transformation.

This series wrestles with why we need educational racial equity and how we can enact practices to address personal and systemic issues related to racial equity.

Eligible staff will:

* Internalize the Courageous Conversations about Race Protocol

* Deepen knowledge and comprehension of the intersections of educational and social constructions of race

* Apply educational racial equity training toward strengthening professional practice

Power of a social construct, the power of engagement, and the power of transformation.

Enact Meeting Dates:

• Dates—10.7, 11.4, 12.9, 1.20, 2.10, 3.10, 4.21, 5.12 (will add another section if enrollment warrants it)

• Times—7:30-8:20am

• Prerequisite—Beyond Diversity 1 or Courageous Conversations Experience

• Facilitator—Devon Alexander

Time Commitment:

Participants who sign up for this session must be able to attend all virtual sessions.
