Staff members may choose to complete an action research project. The research problem would address a practical problem, issue, or challenge in the school or classroom. It is a reflective process that helps staff explore and examine aspects of teaching and learning and to take action to change and improve.
The action research project would include the following written components:
Identify a classroom problem, issue, or challenge
Define the problem including the context of research including the school, classroom, population, or cultural contexts that apply.
Identify methods and plan (analysis of probable causes and formulation of Action hypotheses)
Implement Action based on hypotheses
Collect and analyze data
Communication of findings to others and how practice is changed or improved
