STRENGTH & CONDITIONING
WE103G/WE104G
Our Strength and Conditioning class provides students with a structured foundation in physical fitness and athletic performance. Students report to the weight room daily, lifting four days a week (Monday-Thursday) and participating in Choice PE on Fridays.
The program focuses on foundational strength through core lifts such as Bench Press, Squat, and Hang Cleans, complemented by speed and agility training. Designed with student-athletes in mind, the programming is aligned with our athletic teams to support sport-specific training provided by individual coaches in supplementary workouts.
While this course is tailored for athletes, it is open to all students seeking to improve their strength, fitness, and overall athletic ability.

DRIVER EDUCATION
The goal of Driver Education in high school is to develop responsible and competent users of the highway transportation system. The program has two phases:
Classroom Phase: Required for graduation, this phase focuses on safe driving attitudes and traffic safety. Students must complete a minimum of 30 hours to earn credit.
Behind-the-Wheel Phase: Optional but available for students who wish to participate. This phase provides hands-on experience, teaching safe and competent driving skills in real-world situations. Students must complete 6 hours to earn credit.
Students should plan to complete both phases within one year if they start the classroom phase before the behind-the-wheel phase. Students must be at least 15 years old to obtain a driver’s permit. To qualify for the program, students must have passed at least 8 classes over the previous two semesters.
In cases where enrollment is limited due to staff or facility availability, priority will be established to ensure fair participation.
