WOODS I
A semester course devoted to learning the fundamental skills and knowledge in the use of hand and power woodworking tools, to use common materials employed in woodworking, and to learn safe and efficient work habits while constructing student projects.
Projects: Push Stick/Block, Toy Car, Cutting Board, Gumball Machine, Pen Lathe
This is a semester long course.

WOODS II
A course to provide the student with an opportunity to develop more skill in the use of tools, materials and processes in constructing projects involving planning, use of hand and power tools, and to introduce the basic operations on machines. Equipment/skills involved include: Advanced Woodworking Machines, Lathe Turning, CNC Router, Advanced Joinery, Staining and Wood Finishing.
Projects: Custom Toy Car, Lathe and CNC Router Projects
Prerequisites: Woods I

GEOMETRY IN CONSTRUCTION
This is an interdisciplinary course that combines Geometry and Construction. Through comprehensive integration of woodworking and geometry, students will discover and apply geometric concepts as they design and build projects, large and small. The Geometry content matches that of the other Geometry courses and prepares students for future math courses.
