This was not what I was expecting, but I am thankful God lead me to this book. It is what I needed to read.

I bought this book in kindle edition, so far I love it!

Spiritual uplifting

As a created being, our creator had a specific purpose in mind when He chose to create each of us. Then, this broken world does it's work and we become broken. No longer capable of being who we were originally designed to be, we become selfish, fearful, self-protecting and prideful. Then, we open our hearts to Christ. At least, we think that we did... But where's the transformation of our lives? Where's this "new creature" or "new man" we're told that we'll become? This book walks each man down a path toward learning how to submit to God's will. This book is all about how we, as men, can allow God to transform our lives; re-creating us into the men He originally designed us to be. Isn't this the reason that we chose to give ourselves to him? Isn't becoming a better man, a "new man," our reason for asking Him to save us? This book is about truth, forgiveness, redemption, grace, mercy and God's life-transforming power. It's also about what brotherhood and how Godly, loving accountability are tools of God for our "new man" transformation and for Godly protection, not just for us, but for the ones we love and live for.

I have read dozens of books written for men regarding matters of faith and nothing hits the mark like “Believe, Become, Be: Becoming the Man God Believes You Can Be." The author, Robert Noland, not only describes each point and principle, but teaches the reader how to apply it...right now. I found myself nodding and agreeing out loud throughout each chapter. If you want to stop messing around with trying to find a magic formula for living a life of faith, buy this book. Robert Noland takes 4 major areas of a man’s Christian life and wraps a complete way of life built around them. And if you're not all that amused with books on faith, but want a book that will make you a better man then “Believe, Become, Be" will take care of the task. But know that when you finish... you'll want to know more about God's plan for your life - you can't help it! This book is simple, powerful, and effective. As proof, I have used this material at our church to start men's small groups. The guys show up and talk about it! Good stuff - and it delivers. You must read this.
