Project AKKaP (Akbayan ang Kapwa at Komunidad tungo sa Pag-unlad) aims to equip the community members’ competency, skill, or knowledge in people empowerment, cultural preservation, and environmental education to improve the overall quality of their life, be aware of environmental problems, and practice waste segregation.

Cavite State University (CvSU)–Carmona Campus, through the Extension Services Office and the Department of Arts and Sciences, sustained the implementation of Project Kaisa Kababaihan Kaisa sa Pag-angat ng Buhay with the successful conduct of Sessions 3 to 5 at CvSU-Carmona. These sessions further strengthened the initiative’s commitment to promoting women’s well-being, amplifying their voices, and encouraging active participation in community development.
The third session, held on January 16, 2026, centered on women’s well-being. The program began with a welcome and introduction, followed by opening remarks from Asst. Prof. Robert Jan Bayan, department extension coordinator-alternate, who underscored the importance of prioritizing women’s holistic health. A pre-evaluation activity was conducted to gauge participants’ initial understanding of the topic. The session’s highlight was the discussion titled “Kumusta Ka Ate Women’s Well-being” delivered by Asst. Prof. Ron Erik C. Frontuna, leader of Project AKKaP, which focused on mental, emotional, and social dimensions of well-being. Participants actively engaged in a guided activity that encouraged reflection and sharing of experiences. The session concluded with the awarding of certificates, post-evaluation, and closing remarks from Asst. Prof. Frontuna, reinforcing the significance of self-awareness and care.
On January 23, 2026, the fourth session emphasized the importance of women’s voices in society. The program opened with welcome remarks and an introduction, followed by Asst. Prof. Bayan’s opening message. The main discussion, Boses ng Kababaihan Dinig ng Bayan, was delivered by Dr. Maria Andrea C. Francia, faculty extensionist, who stressed the value of women’s participation in discourse and decision-making processes within their communities. An interactive activity provided participants with the opportunity to express their perspectives and collaborate with one another. The session concluded with the awarding of certificates, post-evaluation, and closing remarks from Asst. Prof. Bayan, encouraging participants to continue asserting their voices in meaningful ways.
The fifth and final session, conducted on January 30, 2026, served as the culmination of the program. Asst. Prof. Bayan opened the session with his welcome remarks, followed by Asst. Prof. Frontuna, who presented the rationale and key highlights of Project Kaisa. A significant portion of the session was dedicated to testimony sharing through “Babae Ako Kaya Ko”, where participants confidently shared their personal stories, challenges, and aspirations. This was followed by a commitment and advocacy segment, symbolizing the participants’ dedication to applying what they have learned and promoting women empowerment within their respective communities. Ms. Janine Bacosmo, leader of CvSUCCESS extension program and campus extension services coordinator, delivered a message of support, reaffirming the University’s continued commitment to extension programs that uplift women. The session concluded with the awarding of certificates of participation, followed by closing remarks, reminders, and announcements from Asst. Prof. Frontuna regarding the future endeavors of CvSUCCESS’ Project AKKaP.
