Cavite State University (CvSU)–Carmona Campus successfully conducted an activity titled “Webinar on Strengthening Extension Services Management Documentation and Monitoring” on April 8, 2026, via Google Meet. The activity aimed to enhance the competencies of faculty and staff in effectively managing, documenting, and monitoring extension services in alignment with institutional and regulatory standards.
The program commenced with an opening prayer through an audio-visual presentation. The first session featured an echo presentation on CHED Memorandum Order No. 18, Series of 2025, focusing on the revised guidelines and instruments for the Client Satisfaction Survey of extension projects in state universities and colleges. Ms. Janine B. Bacosmo, campus extension services coordinator, delivered a comprehensive discussion highlighting key provisions, compliance requirements, and their practical implications for campus implementation.
The second session focused on Quality Management System procedures and forms for extension services, which are accessible through the campus ExPAnD website (Extension Platform for Advancement and Documentation). Ms. Bacosmo emphasized standardized processes, proper documentation protocols, and the importance of maintaining quality and consistency in extension-related transactions. The succeeding sessions addressed the individual monitoring of extension service hours, highlighting accurate tracking, reporting mechanisms, and accountability among faculty members. It also covered access to files and proper documentation of extension activities, underscoring the need for organized, accessible, and audit-ready records, all of which are integrated within the same platform.
An open forum and clarification segment provided participants the opportunity to raise questions and further deepen their understanding of the topics discussed.
Closing remarks were delivered by Ms. Bacosmo, who emphasized the critical role of efficient management, accurate documentation, and continuous improvement in sustaining impactful extension services. The activity concluded with a photo opportunity and the signing of the CvSU Hymn.
