The conversion of a great music education comes with performances, fundraising events, and travel opportunities to make learning relevant and memorable. We need parents to fill roles both big and small to make it all happen! Please join us at our annual kickoff meeting November 12, 2024 @6:30pm (the Fall Recital is at 7pm immediately following).
Goals of Band/Chorus volunteers
Encourage increased community engagement in the SCS Band & Chorus programs and involvement at concerts and events.
Grow our network of volunteers at music department concerts and events (many hands, lighter work).
Support our fundraising efforts.

Our goals:
help fund annual performance travel opportunities for Wind Ensemble & Concert Choir.
fund scholarships for first year rentals and private lessons for ideal students with families facing higher financial burden.
fund departmental expenses that exceed line items in our budget.
