Standards & LEARNING TARGETS

Most learning targets in SCS Band's content are guided by a balance of 4 processes from the National Core Art Standards for Music (NCASM):

The CVSD K-8 music teachers use and often revise a set of broad music learning targets that connect to the NCASM and fit into these 4 processes.  The "connect" process often is inherently embedded in music education, so each learning targets connects to our CVU graduation standards.  Furthermore, our Habits of Learning targets are completely transferable and connected across disciplines.
