LESSONS

LESSONS are an essential component to a middle level band program.  In like-instrument small groups, students gain more technical coaching and individualized instruction.  They deepen their understanding of how their instrument works and fits into the large ensemble.

Lessons rotate within the schedule during the school day and students must excuse themselves from another class to attend.  

Expectations for students:

• • Monitor the Band Schedule.

  • Check in with your teacher before and after your lesson. You are responsible for missed instruction or any work assigned.

  • Practice your lesson assignments and track your progress!

  • Bring your instrument and music folder to every lesson.
