Physical Education Course I
Full-year course, 5 units each semester, grade 9

Description: This core course will provide an opportunity for students to participate in a variety of physical education activities to teach movement skills and to improve fitness levels. Activities may include (subject to availability of facilities, enrollment, and staffing): Fitness Conditioning/Jogging, Physical Fitness Testing, Weight Training, Aquatics, Combative Techniques, Racquet activities, Track & Field, Self-Defense, Golf, Archery, and Yoga.
Physical Education Course II
Full-year course, 5 units each semester, repeatable, grade 10
Prerequisites: None
Description: This course continues the emphasis placed on fitness awareness/Education and allows the student to be exposed to team sport activities and functional Fitness Education. Activities may include: Basketball, Speedball, Volleyball, Hockey, Water polo, Softball, Football, Conditioning, Ultimate Frisbee, Soccer,Physical Fitness Assessment, Field Hockey, Lacrosse, Team Handball, Crossfit, Strength and Conditioning.
