The PSAT (Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test) is administered automatically to all sophomores at CVHS. Students who earn very high scores may be selected for special scholarship recognition.
There are two major exams used widely in the college admissions process: The SAT (by the same company as the PSAT) and the ACT. Both are accepted by all colleges that require or accept standardized tests.
Not all colleges require a standardized exam.
The UC and CSU systems DO NOT ACCEPT scores from these exams.

How to Access your PSAT Scores
Students should receive an email with a link to create a CollegeBoard account along with an access code. Once logged in, you should be able to view and download your scores with the access code.
