This week, we are celebrating Scottish Maths week ( 28 to 4 October). Have a look at some of our photo's and videos, celebrating everything that is outdoors and mathematical. Our welcome video, made with two P1's is only 16 seconds long, so click on and have a listen.
So much maths goes on in our school mud pit. Arguably, it is one of our best mathematical resources in the school and it's free.

At this time of year we begin to see some of our tallest flowers at their very best. Even in Scotland, where we don't always see the best of the sunshine, our sunflowers can grow very, very tall, as you can see from this photograph from one of our Outdoor Explorer team.
Can you send us any pictures of sunflowers that you have in your garden? Perhaps, you might find something tiny like a bug or bee, or small like the chick you can see below. If you find or see anything interesting whilst you are out and about in your garden or the forest, send it into us using the collection box below and we will be able to feature it on our Outdoor Explorers website.
