This Outdoor Explorer shows us how to make delicious honey scones.
What they should look like when they come out of the oven.
Ms Bills explains some mindfulness techniques and helps us to think about some of the things that we can feel grateful for.
Can you write an acrostic poem like Mrs Bell?
An acrostic poem can be read downwards as well as across. The initial letters should make up the title of the poem, which is why Mrs Bell's poem is called 'Culloden Woods'. When I read this poem I thought of this beautiful picture of Otis sitting in Culloden Woods surrounded by bluebells and trees.
Play is Powerful. Whether it is playing with a football on the pitch or free playing in the forest.
When children are able to freely choose how they play, it is a rich learning experience.
Mrs Mackay loves to buzz around the school, making sure we are all behaving ourselves (and that's the adults!) What we didn't realise is that she is also buzzing about bees.
Watch these two short videos that Mrs Mackay found showing us just a couple of reasons as to why we should have so much respect for bees. See why they build their hives using the hexagon shape and how bees bodies are designed to be pollen collectors.
Mrs MacMillan and Mrs Stevenson have enjoyed seeing new life spring up in our local Smithton community.
