UAH Scholarships
The University of Alabama in Huntsville Scholarships
UAH offers a variety of scholarship and financial aid opportunities. If you are considering UAH, be sure to visit their financial aid webpage to learn more.
Here are a few highlights to get you started...
The application for admission automatically enters students for academic scholarship (ACT/GPA based) consideration.
Academic scholarship awards begin with a 21 ACT and 3.0 GPA.
UAH does not consider ACT superscores. Scholarships are based on the highest composite score.
Freshman scholarships are renewable each year for four years.
Competitive scholarships require a separate application. Existing UAH upperclassmen generally have priority over entering freshmen for competitive scholarships, but it still doesn't hurt to apply.
UAH will upgrade your scholarship award if you score higher on the ACT in a later exam. The deadline for this upgrade is May 1st.
**If you apply to UAH, be sure to ask Mrs. Yearwood to send your high school transcript! This is a requirement for admission and scholarship consideration.**
