The Linly Heflin Unit grants scholarships for up to four years in the amount of $10,000 per year to a limited number of applicants who have both economic needs and proven academic records. An ACT score of 23 (superscored) is required. Scholarships are restricted to Alabama women who are United States citizens attending four-year Alabama colleges or universities. This application form with supporting documentation must be completed by January 11, 2026. Necessary documents include academic transcripts, ACT score verification, and verification of income.Applicants must be female, from Alabama, a U.S. citizen and must attend a four-year accredited Alabama college/university and full-time.
