Before their was the Cheney Tech Sports Hall of fame, MDET had started a MDET Sports Hall of Fame. What does it take to get in you may ask. Play a sport at Cheney tech and talk to Mr Jordan and Mrs. Lavoie. Sign a piece of sports equipment and add it to the sports hall of fame in Mr. Jordan's room. Until we can start adding people to the website here, we will list members of current sports teams, and recent inductees.

Kanye Pitts
Kanye Pitts
Kanye Pitts is a 2025 Graduate. He played on the Football team, Basketball Team, Boys Volleyball Team and the Track Team for Cheney Tech. He played both as a Beaver and as a Charger in his time on the sports teams. A notable moment in Kanye Pitt's sports career at Cheney was playing basketball in the State Championship game at Mohegan Sun.
Jaden Seegobin
Jaden Seegobin
Jaden Seegobin is a 2025 Graduate. Jaden is known around the country for his boxing skills. Jaden signed the boxing glove he left in the MDET Sports Hall of Fame. While this isnt necessarily a sport at Cheney (Yet?), he certainly achieved great things in his sport and deserves to be recognized by joining our hall of fame.
