Hey Party People,
First, let me congratulate your class on all of your successes at Cheney Tech. It is without a doubt that the graduating MDET class is full of future leaders. Many of you have chosen to stay in the field of MDET which is really exciting and tells me that you have truly enjoyed our classes. This is a class I am sad to see go but am also really excited to see where you guys all end up. You guys were the first class of freshman I ever had, and I couldn't have asked for any better.
Some highlights from your class that stand out in my brain are, playing some of the several games we did in my class. You were the first class to play survivor MDET and the first class to play it twice. We made some of the worlds worst instruments for an assignment, and created a slew of interesting and unique projects. Your class was also at the first Design Exposition, then called Invention Convention. By the end of your senior year you guys also had 5 students actively on WBL and 7 enrolled in the WBL program, which is by far a record in my time at Cheney Tech. You all should be proud of all of the things that you have accomplished.
In your class, there are star athletes, class officers, future politicians, architects, aerospace engineers and much much more. Do me one last favor, stay in touch with the MDET Department. Take your experiences in the field and bring them back to help improve Cheney Tech and more specifically the MDET Department. Join the PAC, come back and visit, present your work to the future students of Cheney Tech. And most importantly, a $1,000,000 donation and I will personally call the department the [Insert Your Name] MDET Department at Cheney Tech. Congratulations, I'll see you all around.
