Job Summary:
The tooling engineer for molds is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining tooling (molds) used in production. This role requires expertise in molds design, materials, and manufacturing processes to ensure high-quality, cost-effective, and efficient production.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and optimize molds for injection molding and other manufacturing processes.
Ensure molds are designed for durability, ease of use, and cost-effectiveness.
Ensure mold designs meet product quality and dimensional requirements.
Oversee the manufacturing and fabrication of molds, ensuring quality standards are met.
Work with suppliers and vendors to source materials and components for tooling.
Ensure that molds are produced on time and within budget.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for molds and tooling.
Troubleshoot and repair molds when required, minimizing downtime in the production process.
Ensure molds are cleaned and maintained to extend their lifespan and functionality.
Analyze results from mold tests, identifying any design flaws and recommending improvements.

Hot Section Engineering (HSE)-Department Overview
Hot Section Engineering is responsible for the design, development, technology maturation and in service support of all diffuser cases, combustors, turbines (vanes, blades, rotors and cases), augmenters (military), nozzles and associated fuel systems for all military, commercial and industrial engine models and radial auxiliary power units. Technical disciplines in HSE include Project Engineering, Mechanical Design, Structural Analysis, Durability and Product Definition.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
The salary range for this role is 50,000 USD - 100,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Design Checker. The Mechanical Design Checker is responsible for applying GD&T principles to ensure successful assembly and operation of various mechanical items that include but are not limited to Fuel Pumps, Vapor Cycle Systems and Actuators. Review drafting layout requirements with the intention of providing assurance of mechanical function.
Work with Design, Drafting and Analysis to meet the needs of the design requirements.
Provide design solutions to resolve mechanical issues.
Generate and perform relevant mechanical design and review with respect to fuel pumping systems, vapor cooling systems, and/or actuation systems. Qualifications
Associates Degree with 10+ years of related experience or 15+ years of design checking experience.
Must have the ability to read, understand and mark-up complex mechanical detail and assembly drawings.
Must have the ability to understand and apply GD&T fundamentals.
Must be able to perform complex assembly tolerance studies.
Knowledge of turbine engine fuel/oil pump design, environmental control system packaging and component design is a plus.
Knowledge of high-speed rotating systems/assemblies is a plus.
Strong technical communication skills (written and verbal).
Ability and willingness to travel
Capability in 3D solid modelling, preferably UG NX a plus.
Knowledge of casting and machining principles.
Understanding of valve function and design a plus.
Self-motivated and ability to work independently with minimal guidance and as part of a team.

Job Description:
Provide escalator feasibility reviews for modernization estimates.
Responsible for interpreting bid specs and responding to field questions in an effective & timely manner
Knowledge of code requirements to perform escalator design and drafting for project execution.
Facilitate ordering and shipping of executed project materials.
Responsibility to identify & resolve technical issues in the design and implementation of escalator and hydraulic elevator projects.
Work closely with senior engineers to ensure that the business objectives are implemented and achieved.
Reviewing and placing orders for hydraulic elevator power unit replacements.
Experience/Qualifications
3+ years of engineering and project management experience.
Demonstrated analytical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and communication skills.
