Getting Started Tasks

Welcome to the Getting Started Tasks!

This page provides you with all of the tasks you need to complete before you begin classes. Please make sure you work your way through all of these tasks.

All tasks must be completed the Friday before classes begin in August. Failure to complete tasks could interfere with you accessing and beginning your classes. It is highly recommended that you start these tasks after you have been admitted and way before you arrive in August.

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to the ITGL Faculty - Ms. Gugliucciello (vgugliucciello@jhu.edu).

Download the ITGL Cohort Site Getting Started Tasks Checklist to help you keep track of your progress on these tasks.

Final Transcripts From Students Who Were Admitted With Requirements

Send to our SOE Admissions Office an official, final transcript indicating your degree conferral.

Questions about your final transcripts should be directed to the Office of Admissions (soe.admissions@jhu.edu). All ITGL students who were Admitted with Requirements must send final transcripts to SOE as soon as possible after your degree is conferred.  When you send your official, final transcript with confirmation of your degree conferral, you must follow the same procedures you followed when you sent your initial transcript:

For Degrees Earned at International Institutions

If during your application process you ordered a course-by-course evaluation, you would have your final documentation sent to the same evaluating agency and request an updated evaluation be sent to the School of Education Office of Admissions.

For Degrees Earned at US Institutions

If you have now graduated from a US institution, you would order another transcript that has the degree conferral statement on it. The Office of Admissions accepts certified electronic transcripts directly from issuing institutions by email to soe.admissions@jhu.edu, or you may request your official transcripts to be mailed to the following address:
