Description of the Opportunity:
Exciting 2025 Projects
1. Early Advantage Program – Students will have the opportunity to provide educational programming at childcare centers, as well as develop some of the curriculum. This will be a valuable opportunity for students to work onsite and directly engage with children.
2. Online Resource Hub – Students will assist Blue Hatchlings in maintaining its online resource hub by conducting research and monitoring news related to childcare in Baltimore.
3. Grant Writing – Students will support Blue Hatchlings in identifying funding opportunities, preparing proposals, and drafting grant applications.
Finally, a more in depth description of our Early Advantage Program which we discussed yesterday is the following:
Through Blue Hatchlings, Inc.'s Early Advantage initiative, childcare centers can request and reserve Johns Hopkins University Graduate and Undergraduate students to deliver age-appropriate academic programming and services such as reading services and basic language tutoring via Blue Hatchlings Inc's., "reservation match" service.
Prior Educational Experience: I have worked as a mentor for students from diverse backgrounds. As an educational entrepreneur, I founded and lead a K–12 international online school that provides quality education to underserved children in remote areas of Myanmar, combining academic instruction with digital skills and global learning opportunities.
