These painting reflect on my personal artistic development, highlighting the inspirations for my artwork. Adoring My Mother was inspired by my mother's love for butterflies. Night Court Dream was inspired by my favorite novel.
I created pins and magnets with images that reflect body positivity for men and women. I placed a set of magnets and pins into three baskets that I placed in my community; the library, a mail room, and a park. My goal was to spread the image of self love and body positivity in a time when social media spreads the images of impossible body goals and quarantine had restricted our ability to exercise.
