Solo & Ensemble registration is opening soon! This is your chance to shine—whether you want to perform a solo or get a group of friends together for an ensemble, now’s the time to start planning.

✅ Important: Transportation to and from the event is your responsibility

Join us for an evening of music as the entire Cedar Springs Bands program, grades 6–12, takes the stage!

🎺 The debut performance of the 6th Grade Band, Class of 2032
🎃 A spooky Halloween treat from the 7th Grade Band
🏈 Game-day spirit with the 8th Grade Band and the Marching Red Hawks
🌟 A standstill performance of The Reclamation Project by the Marching Red Hawks

This is a wonderful opportunity to see the growth of our band program from the very first notes to our award-winning high school band.
📋 Band Schedule:
6:00pm – HS Band rehearsal begins / 8th Grade Band arrives
6:20pm – 6th Grade Band arrives
6:35pm – 7th Grade Band arrives
6:55pm – 6th Grade Band heads to stage
7:00pm – Concert begins with the 6th Grade Band
7:00pm – 7th Grade Band ready outside stage door
7:10pm – 8th Grade & HS Band ready outside stage door
👕 Concert Attire (all bands):
Black t-shirt
Blue/black jeans or black dress pants
Comfortable shoes that secure to your feet
Cedar Springs Band polo (issued upon arrival)
🎵 Note: The HS Band will continue rehearsal until 9:00pm following their concert performance.
All students are encouraged to stay, watch, and support their fellow musicians throughout the evening.
The Cedar Springs Bands calendar for the 2025-2026 school year is now live on our website! You can view it anytime at cedarspringsbands.com, and we highly recommend subscribing so you have every event right at your fingertips—no more guessing or missing dates!
A printed version of the calendar will also be sent home with your student on the first day of school.
This calendar includes all major events, including the 3–5 required evening performances your child will participate in this year. Don’t worry—the first required performance isn’t until October, so there’s plenty of time to plan ahead.

Fundraising pertains to 7th and 8th Grade Bands
We are excited to share that we have officially surpassed our initial goal of $10,000! A huge thank you goes out to everyone who has generously donated to support Cedar Springs Bands — your contributions make a tremendous difference for our students.
We still have a few days left in the campaign, and we’re setting our sights on the $11,000 threshold. Every gift, big or small, helps us continue to grow and provide incredible opportunities for our band students.

Continuing our college marching band theme, here is a video of MSU's March to the Stadium. Did you know their cadence, The Series, has retained its form since 1965? The Series tradition is one of the things the Spartan Marching Band is known for nationwide.
