If you’re walking or running → go enjoy the run!
If you’re cheering → grab your instrument and get ready to pump up our runners with the fight song and some big “rah rahs!”
Wear your normal school clothes—no uniforms needed.
Everything happens during the school day, and we’ll be finished in plenty of time for you to catch your bus or ride home.
Band Directors will provide a detailed schedule for students in class this week.
Let’s bring the energy and show our Red Hawk pride! ❤️🖤

Did you know? If you have a student in band, you're already a Music Booster!
The Cedar Springs Music Boosters play a vital role in supporting our band students through volunteering, fundraising, and behind-the-scenes efforts at every performance and event. Whether it’s helping with uniforms, pit crew, concessions, or chaperoning, your involvement makes a big difference!
We welcome all parents and guardians to attend meetings, volunteer, and get involved however you can. Your support helps make the band experience unforgettable for our students.
Fundraising pertains to 7th and 8th Grade Bands
From now until October 4, we’re raising money to support our band program—and we need your help!
Every donation goes directly toward new instruments and trailer maintenance, both of which are essential to keeping our program strong and moving forward.
Students—keep sending out your quality contact information to friends, family, neighbors, and coworkers. The more people we reach, the more successful this fundraiser will be!

Switching to the college band model, enjoy this past Saturday's show of Wicked. This is the only time I have seen the Michigan Marching Band have a front ensemble thanks to the U of M Percussion Studio.
Did you know, while most high school's and drum corps spend an entire season working on one show, many college marching bands perform a different show every home game. In a season of up to 7 home games, these bands will play 7 different halftime shows.
