Before Tennis Coaching -  Term 4 2024

We are offering a Before School Tennis Coaching program for 8 weeks in Term 4 Coach Alex (along with Mr R + Mr Young) will be coaching and they are Pumped to work with our kids. 

When: TERM 4

Date: Starts Week 2

Days:

Wednesday - Year 0-2 - 8am 

Thursday - Year 3-4 - 8am

Friday - Year 5-6 - 8am

Where:  School Turf

Cost: $50

Here are the options for Cricket in the Manawatu - 

Incredi-Ball: Year 4,5,6 grade is designed to help with the transition from soft ball to hard ball. Games are played under the same format as Hard Ball cricket and players wear all of the required protective equipment but play with a softer ball. We strongly encourage those players moving on from Dual Pitch cricket to play in this grade before moving on to Hard Ball to help build confidence and get used to wearing cricket protective equipment. All games will be played at 8:30am on Saturday mornings with games finished by 11am. 

Hard Ball: Year 4/5/6 & 7/8 grades are played under the new “Age & Stage” rules provided by New Zealand Cricket. These rules mean more opportunities, quicker games and more enjoyment for all participants to ensure your children will want to come back season after season. All fixtures are played on Saturday mornings at 8:30am and vary in length of overs but all games are finished by 11am.

Who: Teams should be made up of Year 4-6 students.

Where: Lido Aquatics Centre

Day: Thursday

When: Competition starts Thursday 24th October 2024. 

Cost: $45 (this includes free entry and indoor hydro-slide use on game day).

Times: The games will be played in 30 minute slots between 3.45pm - 5.15pm. The team usually lays the same time each week.
