The 2021 Primary School Table Tennis League will be held in Term 2 over 7 weeks.

Information:.

- Held on Tuesday afternoons

- Starts 18th May with a practice session for all teams. Here there will be a briefing on Table Tennis rules including scoring, serving and an intro on how to play doubles.

- Competition fixtures will commence on the 25th May and finish on the 29th June.

- Venue is the Waldegrave Lounge at Central Energy Trust Arena.

- Subject to the number of entries, there might be two time slots for fixtures. Time slot one will be from 3:45-4:30 pm and time slot two will be from 4:45-5:30 pm. Fixtures should take between 45 minutes & 1 hour to complete. If only one time slot is required each week, it will be from 3:45-4:45 pm.

- Cost is $30 per player. A team can include between two & four players. A minimum of two and maximum of three can play each week.

- There are no restrictions on the amount of teams schools can enter.

- Students must be in Years 4, 5 or 6 to play.

- There will be five matches in each fixture which includes four singles and one doubles match. All matches will be the best of three games to 11 points.

Before School Badminton Club

Badminton Club runs for 8 weeks. It is for Year 4-6 children and is limited to 24 kids.

When: Saturday mornings (8:30-12:00)

Start date: Saturday 8th May

Each team will require a coach AND umpire (there is training for this role and it is a lot of fun)

Please register before Friday 9th April as we will hold trials in Week 11.
