2018 will see a Table Tennis League for Primary Schools run for the first time in many years.
Information:
- Venue: Waldegrave Lounge at Central Energy Trust Arena.-
- When: Tuesday afternoons
- Starts: 15th May with a practice session for all teams. Competition fixtures will commence on the 22nd May and finish on the 26th June.
- Time: Time slot 1 will be from 3:45-4:30 pm and Time slot 2 will be from 4:45-5:30 pm.
- Students must be in Years 4, 5 or 6 to play.
- Equipment: Bats will be available to borrow but schools are encouraged to supply players there own. If you would like to purchase new bats, please let me know. The ones I have supplied in the past are $25 each. Balls will be supplied for each fixture
- There will be 5 matches in each fixture which includes 4 singles and 1 doubles match. Matches will be the best of 3 games to 11 points. If it's 1 game all, the 3rd game will be just played to 5 points.
- Cost will be $45 per team ($15 each). A team can include 2-3 players. A minimum of 2 and maximum of 3 can play in a team each week.
- Fees Payment: TBC once teams are finalised.
