CSNS Touch Socks

CSNS Touch Socks are available for purchase on Kindo - $10.

The CSNS Touch Socks will be a part of our School Touch uniform in Term 4. We ordered a lot in preparation for Term 1 School Touch which didn't go ahead.

We will deliver orders to the children's class.

Winter Hockey

There are some major changes to Winter Hockey this year!!

All Primary School Competition games will be all be played at our HMI Twin turfs (for 2020 ONLY). There will be no Grass games in 2020. This includes all Primary school divisions including:

▪ Fun Sticks teams (Year 0 – Year 2) ▪ Mini Sticks teams (Year 3 – Year 4) ▪ Kiwi Sticks teams (Year 5 – Year 6)

▪ All Primary School Competition games are played on SUNDAYS.

Information:

Starts: Term 3 - Sunday 26th July

Times: Between 8.30-1pm. (Depending on entries)

Uniform: CSNS Polo, CSNS Socks and Black Shorts.

Please note - CSNS Socks are compulsory this season - order them on Kindo.

Equipment: You must provide your own Hockey Stick, Mouthguard and Shinpads.

Fees:

Year 0-2 = $25

Year 3-4 = $25

Year 5-6 = $30.

Netball

Netball Manawatu is currently confirming start and end dates for the season. All dates listed below and provisional. If you have any Netball related questions please email Miss Durston - adurston@csn.schoo.nz

Year 1/2

Yr 1&2’s Tuesday’s 23^rd June to 25^th August festival day Sunday 30^th August

The Year 1-2 programme is an 8-week programme with every weekly session including a skill development component followed by a modified 4V4 Netball game over one third of a Netball court. It is a fantastic opportunity to develop fundamental ball handling and team sports skills while having FUN!

- Netball is on Tuesday Afternoons

- Venue - B&M/BR, CET Arena

- Start Date - Tuesday 23^rd June

- Finish Date - Sunday 30^th August (Festival Day)

- Netball fees will be $25.

- Netball uniforms to be no cost this year.

- Teams will be posted on the CSNS Sports Site and the Hall Window.

- We need parents to help with coaching and/or managing teams.

Year 5/6

This year there will be a shorter season 20th June till 16^th August.

- Netball is on Saturday mornings (9am - 12)

- Venue - B&M/Ballroom, CET Arena

- Start Date - Saturday 20th June

- Finish Date -16^th August (Festival Day)

- Netball fees will be $45.

- Netball uniforms to be no cost this year.

- Trials will be held at school - Date TBC

- Teams will be posted on the CSNS Sports Site and the Hall Window.

- We need parents to help with coaching and/or managing teams.

Basketball

We look forward to another successful Basketball season!! Trainings will take place before school or during lunchtimes. We will require Parents to coach/manage.

Information:

- Venue: Central Energy Trust Arena 4 - B&M Centre and Ballroom, Pascal Street.

- Day of Week: Thursday

- Start date: Term 2 - Thursday 25th June

- Finish date: Term 3 - Thursday 24th September

- Grades: Year 3-4 and Year 5-6.

- Uniform: CSNS Singlet - No cost. Black Shorts

- Fees: $65.

Before School Tennis Coaching

We are offering a 4 week Before School Tennis Coaching program. Kurt McNamara from Promac Tennis will be coaching and is excited to work with our kids. All Year groups will be on the Thursday morning.

Years: 0/2, 3/4 and 5/6.

When: Thursday 8am-8.45am

Date: Starts 4th June

Cost: $25

Equipment: Racquets provided.

*Information about dropping kids off and signing the Contact Tracing register for parents will be sent out once registrations close.
