We are offering a Before School Tennis Coaching program for 7 weeks in Term 1.  Mr R (along with Assistant Coaches Georgina + Lily) will be coaching and they are PUMPED to work with our kids.

Cost: $45 (this includes free entry and indoor hydro-slide use on game day).

Parent Help/Coach: We will need a coach/manager to make subs during the game.

We are pleased to share information about the upcoming Junior Rippa Tournament, taking place in March 2026. Local rugby clubs across the Manawatu are working hard to increase participation numbers, and this tournament is a key initiative to help more tamariki get involved in the game in a fun, supportive environment.

Games will be held on Wednesdays at Monrad Park, beginning at 4.00pm, with the final round each week starting at 6.30pm for the following year groups.

• Year 3 & 4

• Year 5 & 6

• Year 7 & 8

This tournament is part of a Manawatu Rugby Junior Board initiative designed to encourage more tamariki to give rugby a go. We aim to support new players to stay involved and eventually move into the Saturday morning competition, helping grow junior rugby long-term across our region.

There is a $15 per player fee, which goes directly toward referee payments. This will be payable to the relevant club.

Registrations open through local junior clubs on 9 February through Rugby Explorer (especially for new players joining clubs) and will close on Thursday, 26 February.

Schools are encouraged to share the information with whānau. Please find the link to the Manawatu Rugby website where junior club details can be found.
